Question: What sport is good for a preteen couch potato who s ALWAYS online!?
Yup, it's me!. I need some help, I WANT to exercise but I am a couch potaterrr!. I love being on myspace and Y!A ALL day long!. I really want to join a sport but I have no clue what to pick!? I suck at catching stuff!. My mom recommended tennis!? My back muscle isn't that strong but I'm working on it (by my posture b/c it builds back muscle)!. I used to be in tumbling and I absolutely LOVED it besides that fact that EVERY time I jumped or did a flip I'd pull my back muscle (that started about the last 1 year I was in tumbling so I quit!. I wonder if karate would be good for me!? Any recommendations!?
I'm kind of shy and non-confrontational so in sports I REFUSE to steal the soccer or basketball so I don't think I'd be good at that!. I just need to get MOVING! Any help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Individual Sports:
-yoga
-dance
-taekwondo
-karate
-swimming
-Wii Fit (don't laugh!.!.!.I know people who lost up to ten pounds on it)

Well sports is about competitions, so being non-confrontational and being in a sport isn't going to work!. The object is to win, or at least try to win whatever you're doing!. I think swimming would be good for you, that way your biggest competition is yourself, trying to beat your time, plus there's no weight on your back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Turning off your computer would be a good start!. Set yourself a daily limit on your computer and then do something else once your hours are up!. I have a 15 yr old son who is the same as you!.!.!.total couch potato!.!.!.You have to force yourself to go do something else even if it only starts with walking the dog everyday!.

Wrestling will probably get you in shape the fastest!. I have never wrestled, I played basketball and I always thought the wrestlers worked the hardest!. They have to keep their weight down to and its a great motivation! If not, the Wii is pretty active!. lloloolololollWww@Answer-Health@Com
