The pain is coming from lack of blood flow from being out of shape!. Good blood flow carries oxygen to the muscles!. I had the same problem!. It took a few days of exercising for it to stop hurting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to take it easy when you have been out of exercise for a few weeks!.

You must now rest and ice the sore areas and defo not do any more walking until you are completely better!.

When you do go back to excersice make sure you take it slow to begin with and slowly and gradually increase the amount of walking you do day by day, if you dont you will put yourself at risk and out of excersise again!.

Also make sure you walm up, strech and cool down - every time you do excersice to reduce the risks of injury!.

Good luck !Www@Answer-Health@Com

ha im sat here on the pc for exactly the same reason!. i used to walk 14-15 miles a day pretty much everyday but im cutting down on exercise cos ive lost too much weight and getting worryingly obsessed with it all lol!. anyway i hadn't gone on my usual walk for a week (hate skipping days too) then went yesterday for a 12 mile walk and today i could hardly stand up this morning lol im gonna give it a couple of days so my body can recover, you should do the same really, Good luck with your weight loss :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

i know how you feel when i start doing my squats and stomach crunches i am in agony for ages afterwards, its just that you not used to it after taking a break!. best thing to do is keep it up as your muscles will get used to it and if you stop you will just go through this again just take it a little bit easier xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com
