Question: Has anyone out there with a hypothyroid had a gastric bypass!? Have you lost weight!?
I have been on thyroid meds and am still gaining weight and can't lose so I'm considering surgery but want to make sure that it will help with my condition!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had lap band with hypothyroid and I am losing weight, but I really don't know why you wouldn't with gastric bypass!. I had the surgery 4-16-08 and I am down 50 pounds and I really feel good!. You need to contact your PCP and talk to him/her about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
