Question:

I am lookinf for a new diet...?

im only 16, and a couple of pounds away from my ideal weight...
i've heard of things like the Atkins diet, the veggie diet, and all sorts of things taht i do not find so healthy. so i have opted for a high fibre, protein and meat diet, but with of course, essential food groups, liek carbohydrates and fats -but in lower quantities-.
can anyone give me good heathy, not -so - pricey examples of food from the food groups and perhaps any recipies???


Answers:

Stick to what you are doing it sounds like the healthiest and best thing for you. Some things high in protein and fiber are cooked broccolli and maybe even add a small amount of cheese, or slice a banana and spread peanut butter on it. Also just try and stick with lean meats, like chicken turkey or fish, but I wouldn't recommend that much red meat at all. Good luck!
