Question: Protein supplementation while on a diet!? Need expert advise!.!?
Does it make sense to do protein supplementation while on a diet!? I've heard it suppresses appetite in addition to more easily building muscle!.

I am obese, male 27yrs old, currently working out 5-6 days a week, both cardio and strength, and my diet is lacking in protein, at about 50 grams per day on average, and my lean mass is 208,5 pounds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To answer your question, yes!. Protein should be in the diet of anyone looking to be healthier, no matter your fitness goals!. There are several reasons for this!. One is, of course, that it builds muscle, and muscle burns fat!. Another reason is that protein takes a long time and a lot of energy for your body to digest, therefore suppressing your appetite!. Also, contrary to popular belief, too much protein will not harm your kidneys, but, instead will be used as a source of fuel for your body!. So protein supplement is definitely a must!.
