Question: Food servings and the dietary guidelines!?
can anybody tell me how many servings of meat i need daily!?

please no harsh comments about my weight, i'm not anorexic!. everyone in my family is very petite!.

Well, nobody NEEDS meat!. There are plenty of vegetarians and vegans!. The number of grams of protein you should be getting each day is 30!. To figure this out, you multiply your weight (I just calculated it for you) by !.39!.
You can get protein from a lot of different foods!. Beans, cheese, milk and eggs all have protein!. Meat is the highest in protein though!. I would say you shouldn't have more than two servings of meat a day!. Too much meat isn't a good thing, but the right amount is great for protein! So my answer is, you don't NEED any meat at all if you're getting a lot of protein from other sources!. If your main source of protein is meat, then I think two servings a day is good!.
One might be better, since you ARE very small and probably don't need as much as the average person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are asking about meat, so why add your weight at all!.!. its like you are asking people for comments, that is of course called vanity!.!.!.!.

you can look up the food pyramid, just follow it!. you are underweight so im assuming your family is very poor!? or else you have not started your period yet!. why did you include your weight at all!? just eat normal ok!? like 1-2 servings of protein, not necessarily meat!. a serving is about 4-6 ounces of meat!.

Think protein wise!. It's better to get a little protein in every meal along with fiber so that your muscles stay strong and healthy throughout each day!. I would get at least too servings of meat a day!. Make sure it's more white meat than than dark meat!. White meat is more lean than dark meat, is very low in fat and packs a ton of protein!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
