Whats the best way to restist food cravings?!


Question: Whats the best way to restist food cravings!?
Like when someone brings over a batch of cookies and you want it sooo bad but cant have it!?
Dont say to have 'alittle piece' because Im on a strict diet!.
Oh, and Id like tips that actually work for you!

1!. want to lose weight more that you want a bite
2!. gross yourself out!. since you have a mental image of how good it will taste!. imagine that it contains disgusting things like grounded up bugs or whatever you don't like to eat!.
3!.Don't put anything off limits!. it pschologically increases craving!. i have a bite or small piece of anything that i know i shouldn't have much of!.
you have guarenteed failure if you put if off limits because you will probably overdo anything once you give in!. if it's not off limits ,you aren't giving in!.
example !.i eat a herseys kiss 20cals!. big deal!.
a bite of ice cream taste the same as a bowl!.
but mostly because it's not off limits i don't really even care because i know i can have it if i want!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I always make sure I have foods around that are acceptable for me, and low calorie!.
Watermelon is a great one, very low cal, 35 cals for 100g, and it's sweet enough to take the edge off those cravings!
If you can't factor this into your diet plan, then come up with some kind of activity for you and the person who's come over to do - maybe go out, even if it's just to the park, because taking yourself away from that situation is the best and easiest thing to do!.
Play over and over in your mind the cons of eating them - high fat content, high calorie value, high sugar, etc etc!. You can easily persuade yourself out of eating them if you develop the will-power!
