Im trying to eat healthy everyday and I was wondering, is it ok to eat canned Ve!

Question: Im trying to eat healthy everyday and I was wondering, is it ok to eat canned Veggies!?
Answers:
Any veggies are better than no veggies, but canned vegetables tend to be high in sodium!. And the canning process leeches quite a few of the awesome vitamins in vegetables!.

In order of best for you: fresh, frozen, canned!. Fresh if you can, frozen if you need, canned if you must!. (Tomatoes are the exception: canned tomatoes are actually healthier than fresh tomatoes, because the cooking process releases lycopene!.)

Congrats on the healthy eating!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was taught there's nothing wrong with canned vegetables, as long as the can isn't dented!. It is a good idea to rinse the vegetables with water first so you can get a lot of the extra sodium out!. I've lost 40 lbs since last November eating more canned vegetables, sweets in very small amounts, whole grains like crazy, and drinking nothing but water!. If you want to eat healthier, canned vegetables are fine!. Just know there are more things you can do as well!. And never forget exercise!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope!. Absolutely not!. Canned foods are WAY high in sodium, which can make your body retain water, which leads to bloating, which leads to weight gain and ultimately hinders weight loss!. So, no!. Absolutely not!. Stick to fresh veggies!. They're the best bet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
