Question: Im so out of shape! HELP!
im 16 years old!.!.!.i did cross country and track freshman year and i was in the best shape ever!.!.!.after i quit and made the cheer team at my school sophmore year i did cheer and then track!.!.!. i was in okay shape but still no nearly as good!.!.after that i stopped running or working out!.!.now its summer i just went on a run and i almost died!! how do i get back!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start out slowly by jogging half an hour every 2 days!. Stretch afterwards even though it's a short workout!. Next week, add 15 minutes to your jog!. The following week add another 15 minutes, so thatyou are now up to 1 hour!. Make sure you skip a day in between to avoid injury and wearing out your knees!.
On the days when you don't run, do weight training using your body weight
1!. 3 sets of 10 push-ups (work up to the full military style push-ups even if you have to start soing the "half" style)
2!. 3 sets of 8 squats (keep your back straight)
3!. Ab workout that includes plank holds (4 times to exhaustion)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go jogging everyday and you will work your way back up!. First week run a mile (record times)

your body needs to get used to it first!. so start off slow, maybe 20 min a day instead of an hr!. and as u get used to it add more time!. your body will get used to it fast since u did track!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
