2 questions.... discourged!!! Weight watchers!
Question: 2 questions!.!.!.!. discourged!!! Weight watchers
I just finished week 3 of "at home" weight watchers!. I used to be a member, but I got pregnant after I lost a ton of weight and like everybody else dont have the money to spend on weekly meetings!. So i am doing this at home!. I follow my diet great! There's one problem!.!.!.
Last time I did this (at the same exact starting weight) was in 2005!. By the end of week 3 back then I had already lost 9 lbs!. This time around I've only lost 6!. Its quite discouraging because this time i've even added exercise 2x a week, I should be loosing more weight ( lost 4!.5 week 1, 0 week 2, and 1!.5 week 3)!. So question # 1, whats going on!? Also, I dont use all of my points each day, is this affecting my weight loss!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course!. By not eating all of your daily points, you're slowing down your metabolism!. Your daily target points are the MINIMUM of what you should be eating each day!. You can also eat from the 35 weekly FlexPoints or you can eat Activity Points if you earn them!. Be patient!. You didn't gain the weight overnight and you won't lose it overnight, either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know it's discouraging, but the point is you are still losing weight!. You've upped your exercise, so it's probable you are gaining muscle mass - more so than you did last time!. Don't forget, muscle weighs more than fat does!. Are you taking your measurements too!? That can also be rewarding!. You may not be losing so quickly in lbs, but I bet you're losing it in inches too & looking more buff to boot!.
2nd - I agree with the first answer here - you should eat all your points, and by not doing so you can be forcing your body to make do with less (slowing the metabolism) - meaning that when you do eat, the body stores the energy (as fat) instead of using it - because it's not sure when the next lot is coming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
