You are exactly right!.!.!. all of these people seem to think that you are saying that people should just eat what they want!.!.!. but you clearly did not!.

Ask any doctor it is completely unhealthy for you to eat less calories than suggested for your individual height and age!. It makes a lot more sense to stay at your suggested calorie intake, because your life expectancy decreases every time you go on the 'food binge' associated with the conclusion of 'crash diets'!.

Maintaining a moderately high intake of calories is actually more healthy than bouncing back and forth between low calorie intakes and more extreme high calorie intakes!.

If a person is capable of starving themselves for a week it would seem they would have the will power to eat a fair amount for forever!.

The 'crash diet' system is a marketing scheme as it has been for years!.!.!. People don't realize that 'crash dieting' is completely responsible for a lot of income in the United States where companies pray on the weak minds of people who obviously have low self-esteem and are dissatisfied with their weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well yeah, if you plan out your meals properly and eat the right kinds of foods, then you'll have no trouble sticking to it!. A person going on a "diet" should be making a lifestyle change that cuts out excessive calories and if they begin to have a healthier mind set, they shouldn't want to go back to eating more calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well i cant answer your last questions but I diet because I'm seriously overweight and I want a better quality of life for myself and for my children!. I want to be able to play with them without getting out of breath!. It's all about "quality" of life!. It's great that you must be happy with your body shape but understand others aren't!. Easier said than done!. Not everyone is capable of excellent self-control especially in the fast food nation we live in today!. Saying "you're on a diet" is another way of saying "I'd like to control what I put in my mouth - and that's not going in mine!."

and what you're describing is called "yo-yo" dieting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Diet works perfectly if you combined it with working out!. I watch what I eat from time to time, but I don't really pay attention to how much calorie is this and that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree to a certain extent!. eating healthy is the best way to go and when someone says i'm on a diet you should respect their choice of living a healthier life instead of criticizing them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeh diet is only meant ot be a kick starter!.!. it comes down to a healthy lifestyle!.!.!. u get ONE BODY! Cant stand it when ppl dont look atfer their body! its such a dam waste!!!!
And for the record calorie counting is an utter garbage way to diet!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you cannot say little calorie = little weight!. Yes, you actually can stay at a certain weight if you change you daily routine or diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to eat less calories to lose weight
to keep your same weight you can eat a little bit more caloriesWww@Answer-Health@Com

I've quit eating fast food and drinking regular soda, it's hard to stay away from sweets though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am also on diet to and I dont think that's bad!.
everyone wants to live more healthy and to be more self-confidentWww@Answer-Health@Com

Peolple diet to lose weight!.!.!.Duh!.!.!.LOL!Www@Answer-Health@Com

MAYBE YOU HAVE TO BE IN THEIR SHOES TO UNDERSTAND!. STUPID!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1000-1200 calories a day isn't smart at all!. In order to lose weight, someone needs to find how many calories they need to eat a day to maintain their weight and then subtract that by 500 (to healthily lose 1 lb a week)!. And you are right "diets" aren't going to help anyone keep the weight off, neither is starving oneself!. It's really a "lifestyle" change that one needs to do!. I, myself am in the process of said lifestyle change and have slowly been doing so since January!. I've cut out butter, sugar, oils (with the exception of Olive Oil), most red meat (if it has to be red meat, it's lean), caffeine and started eating more veggies!. It takes a while, I must admit, I can see why people gravitate towards diets that promise quick results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
