you cannot gain muscle and lose fat at the same.
muscle requires more intake per day, fat requires less.

choose which one you want to do first. if you wanna gain then add 500 calories, to lose then take 500 calories.

get 1g of protein per 1lb of body weight. this will help in keeping the muscle and/or maintaining it's growth.

you're probably better off building muscle before you start to cut. unless you're uncomfortable with your size as it is, then cut first. although cutting second after 'bulking' will show off your improvements muscle wise.
