Should i start with weights???

I just turned 17 and I always wanted to do body building. But i am curious about my height. Im like 5'7. I want to be atleast 6 before i start weights. I am also a black belt in Karate. But for the past two years i haven't exercised. And now i am getting fat. And i think starting with weight would help me exercise. What should i do??


Answers:

If u r wanting to get thinner run first, it will burn way more calories faster than lifting, and being 5'7 is a better height to lift weight then 6 foot, bc u have shorter limbs makeing lifting easier, u wont have to bring weight back and forth as far as someone with longer limbs
