PCOS weight loss SUCCESS stories, please...?!
Question:
PCOS weight loss SUCCESS stories, please...?
I have PCOS and am about to start Weight Watcher's and Curves again in order to lose about 30 lbs. I've done WW & Curves before but my weight seems to platue after only two weeks! I'm so frustrated!! I'm on low androgen BCP's (ortho-cept) and cannot tolerate metformin (even gradually) and low doses are ineffective. I am asking for people that have been where I am to share their motivating stories (...and tips!) so I can muster up the determination that I need to succeed!
Answers:
Hey, sorry that I can't totally relate. Yet, here are some tips from when I was successful:
1.) Water! Drink lots of it!
2.) Small protien breakfast.
3.) Smart One for lunch.
4.) Small piece of fruit for a snack.
5.) One serving of everything that you have prepared for dinner. No, second helpings!!!
6.) A healthy dessert or one of the WW ice cream sandwiches or popsicles.
7.) I had to keep track of all my points to be successful : (
8.) Changing exercise routine every month. (Keeps it interesting for yourself and your body doesn't get overly use to it!)
Hope this helps, sister and friend!
