I have 2 detailed groups of workout, upper and lower. how often should i do these a week?

i was thinking about mon, wed, fris work on upperbody and teus, thurs, and sat work on lower body with sunday off

I think that is a great plan! Keep in mind, you'll want to work your abs on the days you work your back, so that you work opposing muscle groups on the same day.

Are you doing cardio as well?
