Currently, I am 5' 6" and weigh 140 lbs!. I am not obese but I would really like to lose about 10 lbs!.

I recently had a baby girl and I feel your pain- One things that has worked really well for me is to just give up one thing every other day or so- For example- Mondays are rough so I allow myself to have bread, buns etc, but I do my very best at least 2 days a week to avoid it!. The same rule applies to soda, try to avoid it for at least one day and you'll notice a difference!. I find it to be more of a slight life style change and everytime i'm weighed, I notice a decrease! The BobFather is correct, the only way to lose weight is to exercise and change your sugary diet!. However, you should play a sport, then you really dont have to watch what you eat!. Im 5'7'' and I way like 135, but I dont watch wat i eat, cuz i play a sport and Im really serious about it!. I also dont have that much of a sweet tooth!. That's probably why you weigh 140!. Honestly, the only REAL tried and true way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more!. As far as sweets, what your body craves is the carbs!. If you eat 4-5 well balanced smaller meals throughout the day, and not snack on candy, cravings will go away somewhat!. Also, often people mistake thirst for hunger!. Keep hydrated and drink plenty of water!. Oh, and don't get disappointed if the pounds don't melt right away!. A positive mindset will go a long way!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
