Hypothyroidism problems....?!
Question: Hypothyroidism problems!.!.!.!.!?
I get my TSH levels tested often, so my dosage is correct, but I am gaining a considerable amount of weight!. People have told me to exercise a lot, but I don't have time to do much exercise!. I am in an extremely intense school and do a lot of extra-curriculars!. I can't imagine giving that up because it is who I am, but is there anything I can do that is easy, quick, or able to multitask!? I was considering joining a yoga class!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I too have the same problem!. I had thyroid cancer 6 years ago along with hashimotos!. I never had a weight problem until I had my thyroid removed!. I have spoken to many people and the consensus is that it is a part of the disease!. I have found that a very low calorie diet is usually best!. I spoke with several different personal trainers and was told basically the same thing!. You would have to work out twice as hard as anyone else with little effect if it is not accompanied by good eating habits!. I find that the medicine makes me very hungry!. On days that I have forgotten to take it, I don't feel hungry!. Try going to Thyca!.org they have helped me alot with info on thyroid diease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Maybe you need to talk to your doctor about switching to a different medicine!. Gaining weight is a symptom of hypo, and the medicine should do something about that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Why joint a class when you can do it at home less expense and while that's happenning you could be listening to notes from class!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
