A personal trainer or knowledgeable friend or person at the local gym may be a great source for proper techniques. But before you focus on one body part, I should remind you that the body is one unit and you should work the entire body with equal amount of effort.

One of the common misjudgements I witness is that people tend to focus on bicep curls. The bicep curl is a nice exercise, however, you should spend an equal amount of time on the triceps, since your body works by a series of opposing muscle groups. Great arm size and development is a large portion triceps and deltoids and forearms (branchii). The biceps are some what the icing.

Remember that you have to allow the muscles to fully recuperate before you blast them again, so do not work them out everyday with hopes you will have instant success.

Eat well, drink well, rest well.
