Well, Ive recorded in a journal how many calories I consume and its about 1000 to 1200 a day and its mostly all nutritious healthy food so I'm getting plenty of vitamins and nutrients, plus I take a supplement thats supposed to be equivalent to eating fruits and vegetables, and those have relatively few calories. I exercise by doing yard work. Mowing with a push mower till I'm sweaty and hot , raking till I'm fatigued, doing 40 push ups against the wall (not as strenuous as regular ones but I can do more that way.) Its like my body is fighting against me to lose weight and its really frustrating.

Yes, I do have that problem. When I was younger, I had no problems losing weight, I would stop eating for one day and lose 2 pounds. Now it is virtually impossible, I know what you are going through.
However, my doctor told me that I can lose weight, if I got rid of some stress. I informed my doctor that the only way I can get rid of stress is to die.
He told me no, just cut back on eating and exercise at least 3 times a day, harder said than done. But recently I've heard they have diet supplements that help reduce stress while you lose weight. When I get employment, will look into it.
Right now, I know that stress is causing me to not lose weight. But it is true, women going through menopause have a harder time losing weight.
