There is such thing as overtraining, it is when fatigue and anxiety sets in and thats when you know you have overtrained!. You should drink or eat protein after your workout such whey protein or more protein foods such as eggs!. Protein helps recover your muscles faster!. Go workout in the gyms because it has many workout machines and tools to help you workout and get a tour of the gym from the manager or employees to help you workout and get to know each of the machines!. You should drink water during your workout not energy drinks like redbull or coke because those will make you more tired after and make you crash!. YOU MUST START SLOWLY AND GRADUALLY INCREASE REPS OR DURATION!. Don't Jump in too fast!. Work lighter weights but more reps to reduce risk of overtraining!. Good Luck! ANOTHER NOTE: DO NOT GET CONFUSED THAT YOU OVERTRAINED WHEN YOU GET SORENESS AFTER YOUR WORKOUT BECAUSE THAT MEANS YOU HAVE TRAINED HARD AND YOUR MUSCLES ARE RECOVERING It is called DOMS!.Read about it http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Delayed_ons!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well yes and no!. you can if you are trying to lift too much weight, but otherwise no!. your soreness is from not ever having done this before, and if you had, its been a very long time!. you should do what you did last week, but before and after your work out you should stretch, before you go to bed, when you wake up, and through out the day!. this will help the soreness!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start of light on the workouts such as running and slowly increase with maybe 2 day breaks at the begging!. Later on you can run farther and take shorter break days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
