if u are only 14 years old mate then it isn't advisable to lift heavy weights yet!. i started around that age when i was quite tall for my age, now i am less than average for everyone caught up with me as it stunts growth!. some moderate working out, say press ups and sit ups should do no harm!. heavy weights may also incur joint and muscle injury that can persist for a very long time!. really 16 is the youngest u shud start, but 18 is probably the best age to allow for maximum physical development before really testing your muscles i such a mannerWww@Answer-Health@Com
