Question: Burn calories---time vs speed--does it matter!?
so, if i work out about 30 mins on stationary bike at a vigorous pace, i burned about 350-400 calories
if i work out for about 40-45 mins at a moderate pace, i burn the same amount
so does it matter which one i do!? i'm starting to stay on the stationary bike longer, but burning the same amount of calories

At a high pace, your body burns muscle glycogen and blood sugar mostly!. At a slower pace your body tends to dip into your fat stores a little more and you burn more fat!. Alternating between the two ensures that you are getting the benefit of cardio endurance and fat loss!.

I'm not an expert but I believe that time = more muscle where speed = cardio/weight loss!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
