Question: Eating so much when i get back from school!!? HELP!?
heyy guys!.
whenever i get home from school,i can always guarantee i will raid the cupboards!. I usually have something like!.
1 tracker bar
or maybe even 2
pack of crisps
and then ill just pick and pick
and then i wont eat y dinner properly
HOW one earth can i stop it!? its really getting me down

Its a habit more than hunger, you have to try to break the cycle by making yourself another routine!. My daughter was the same, now as soon as she comes in she will have a drink of water, then go and change her clothes and fix her bag for next day!. If she then was generally still hungry or it was still on her mind, a banana is a good quick fix!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try a snack that is high protein or something with low calories that takes a while to eat, like a bag of Healthy Pop! popcorn with little butter or salt and eating it only a few kernels at a time while drinking water!. You could also try something like making yourself tea or a flavored low-cal (low sugar) water if plain water and popcorn doesn't sound too good!.

Eating a high protein snack ( I used to eat oatmeal and now I loooovvvveee South Beach diet bars) or something low cal and filling is great!. Protein is filling, and will help to kill the time between when you get home and dinner!.

your probably felling run down after school, and need something to pick up your energy!. do you find it hard, or stressful!?

there's nothing wrong, although 2 packs of crisps isn't very good!. i'd try walking home if you can, or getting off the bus a few stops early!. you could also eat the food on the way back as you walk, or introduce fruit into this snacktimeWww@Answer-Health@Com

A good idea could be to have your dinner straight away when you get home from school; because thats obviously the time when you are hungry!. Or, if you have to wait for dinner, try chewing gum instead!. If your just eating snacks for the sake of eating then chewing gum will just give you something to do before dinner!

The only thing i eat is tea because as soon as i get in from school i go owt at about 4 come in a 8 have ma tea then go to bed n i exercise a lot n i save ma dinner money for weekends to go to town n i dont have breakfast because i have to put make-up on!.
i keep myself occupied by hanging with mates n havin a good timee which helps me to forget about food! :PWww@Answer-Health@Com

You need to break the routine by having another routine!.

Try having a banana and fill up on loads of water when you get home or on the way home!.

Keep yourself busy by doing something after school!.

Once you have broke the routine after a week or two it should become easier!.

I kinda still do that, but what you gotta do is have lunch as a large meal, or breakfast, then you won't be hungry when you get home!. either that, or have small breaks in between meals, so it quench hunger!.

fruit drinks can also help, but drink too many and your enamel will thin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

please, take some food to school, you wont feel hungry afterwards if you do have something light so the dinner isn't spoiled and your mother upset for not eating her meals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh, i used to do that which made me gain so much weight, but now i go out to my friends house or clean out my bedroom because then your not going to be near the kitchen <3 xWww@Answer-Health@Com
