How to help a friend lose weight?!


Question: How to help a friend lose weight!?
ok one of my good friends from since the cradle is really overweight
hes about 5'9", 280 lbs
i kno thats alot
ive been reading up on diet and fitness and im legitly scared for him because hes so out of shape
hes going to move to buffalo next september-october
i kno when he gets there he will probably get picked on
i want to help him send him off on the right foot
if you cant guess
hes a XL shirt and 38 pant size
how can he lose about 70-100 pounds before september-octoberWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well, tell him to write down what he eats, it'll help him monitor how many calories he's taking in also make him feel guilty about extra snacking if he knows he's gonna have to write it down or feel bad when he lies and doesn't write that down!.

Also tell him to cut out the Vitamin water, it's really useless unneeded calories!. Drink regular water, or sugar free/diet drinks with no calories!.

Also drinking lots of water for a few weeks will let you lose water weight of up to 10/15 pounds!. Also if he wants to lose major weight have him work out for at least 45 minutes a day!. Run, do pushups, sit ups, lift weights, go to the gym if possible, do stretches etc!.

That's about all you can do, and just to let you know losing 70-100 pounds by September/October is NOT a reasonable goal, it's almost impossible unless you work out pretty much 24/7 and eat healthy ALL THE TIME! [IE: Biggest Loser show etc]!. But he can lose some, and become healthier already!.

I wish him luck, and also please be sensitive when bringing up this subject with him!. It is HIS life, here and he may not appreciate you telling him that he's fat and he needs to lose a lot of weight!. So offer to work out with him, and support him throughout this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

take him to the gym and tell him that he has to do something each day like thighs stomach and bottoms of legs for an hour each and be like we are staying here for 3 hours and every time i look at you you should either be drinking water or doing something that is excersise!.!.!.and he should lose a half a pound a dayWww@Answer-Health@Com
