You want to switch your diet and exercise!. If you want to see your abs, shoot for 10% body fat or under!. The trick to this is eating!. Strange, you would think eating would put the pounds on, but remember, it's not how much you eat, it's what you eat, and your abs are muscle just as much as your biceps, chest, etc!. You should eat 6 times a day, breakfast being your biggest meal!. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because you have to replace energy you lost during eight hours of sleep!. Protein should be your number one staple for all your meals!. Protein is good because it repairs your muscles after workouts!. If you were not eating enough protein, working out would eat your muscles away!. That's why protein is so important!. Moderate carb intake is good too!. Especially before and after a workout!. This should be your prime time to use carbs!. It lets your body digest the carbs for quick energy, so your body doesn't eat protein, muscle!. Last but not least, eat all the fruits and vegetables you want!. Just stay away from foods that have high fats and sugars in them!.

You don't need to tone up on your cardio days!. If you lifted weights on your first day, you should let your muscles rest for 48 hours for optimal strength and recovery time before you lift again!. Overtraining can cause your muscles to not change much, and this can be frustrating for all the work one puts in the gym, not to mention other side effects from overtraining!. Add in an exercise program and work on your abs and muscles three days a week, two days of cardio on the other days, and in 6 weeks, you'll see and feel a difference!.
