they go hand in hand, if you exercise to lose weight you end up more toned and fit!. weight loss workouts tend to be harder though then toning alone!. I work out for me to feel better, it improves my attitude if I feel better about myself!.!.!.the rest of the side effects (weight loss, toning and fitness) are perks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

b) Weight is a poor measure!. Size is a much better measure!.
c) If forced to choose between the two, I would choose toned and fit, because there is no guarantee one will weigh less because muscle is denser than fat so one could look better and weigh more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Toned and fit is what's important unless the excess weight is so much that it gets in the way or overstresses yous body from normal body functions!. I'd rather have a little pudge and be tone and fit underneath then fat free with no muscle or physical stamina!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
