Question: How can I find out what my daily intake of protein and other nutritional values should be!?
I am trying to stay with in a 1200 caloric diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For adults the daily protein intake should be around 50 grams per day but it will be difficult to get that plus all the other nutrients on 1000 calories per day!.
On the other hand the daily requirement of vitamins and most minerals can easily fit into a small pill except calcium, phosphorus and magnesium (while sodium and chloride can easily be obtained from table salt and potassium from eating lots of fruit and veg) so look out for these three!.
Also have in mind the daily recommended amounts for nutrients are only approximate and often differ from country to country e!.g for calcium usa gives 1200 mg and the EU 700 mg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For protein you should take 1 gram of protein per kilogram of your weight!.!.so say if your 50 kilograms you would need 50 grams of protein a day =)
