Why is it that even when i see girls heavier than me, i think they are pretty but when i see myself i'm fat?

whenever i see a thin yet curvy older girl i feel raging jealousy. she's so beautiful and i'm so....not. i always think i'll never be that gorgeous. how can i boost my self-esteem? i automatically and naturally compare myself to everyone even guys!

Instead of getting jealous, why not take a positive action? We are our harshest critics but it's how we choose to deal with our self-critism that decides wether or not we are beautiful. If you choose to accept yourself as you are it will show. You will carry yourself differently, speak, think and respond differently and you'll be a lot happier for it. If you decide that you can't accept yourself the ay you are, then do something to change it. Go to the gym, coach a netball team whatever it is that makes you judge yourself, find something that contradicts that thought and apply yourself to it. Focus on what your good at, what you have accomplished in your life and the blessings you have now instead of focusing on the opposite. Nobody here can tell you anything that you haven't heard a thousand times before. Only you can change the way you think and feel about yourself and you have to make a conscious decision to do that. Until your ready to make that decision no one can help you.
