Carbs=energy or fatigue?!

Question: Carbs=energy or fatigue!?
Do minimally/unprocessed carbs such as potatoes, corn and brown rice give people energy or make them sleepy!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Any minimally/unprocessed also known as low glycemic-index carbs, will not affect the blood sugar too much!. (there won't be a dramatic spike, as one would see with refined carbs)!. This will not make you sleepy, it should give one a pretty even energy level till the next 'feeding' time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A nutritionalist will be able to work best with your body type and makeup to tell you, but the basic answer is there needs to be a balance of all the food groups!. As an underweight person, I am sujpposed to eat a lot of carbs, so carbs help give me energy!. For an overweight person or a diabetic, a different effect might take place!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its as simple as this:

My old running coach told me never to eat carbs before you run, but only the day before!. Your body breaks down the complex startches and then uses the glucose to fuel your body!. If you eat them before you exercise, your body has no time to break them down and you will feel full and sluggish!. But if you eat them the day before your body stores them in your blood and can use them!. It all depends on when you eat them in relation to when you exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

energy b/c the carbs turn into gluclose, gluclose turns into ATP and ATP is energy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
