How many days of cardio should "i" do a week? easy 10 points!?!

Question: How many days of cardio should "i" do a week!? easy 10 points!!?
i read online to train for a 5k you should run 3 miles 3 days, 2 miles one day, 4 miles one day, and two days off!.
i am not training for a 5k but i'd love to be that fit to be able to run that far for that long!.
but is that too much running in one week!?

i normally run 2-3 miles about 5-6 days a week!. usually 6 days!. and i also do the machines at the gym for entire body, crunches all ways, and pilates videos all the time!.

so im pretty in shape!.!.i just cant run for farther than 3 miles!. :/ and sometimes when i do run 3 miles, im so sore the next day that i cant run at all! that happened today!. it really sucks!.

what can i do to prevent that!?
and how many days should i do that cardio (along with the other exercises i mentioned) to lose about 5 pounds, maybe not even lose pounds but tone up immensely and be firmer!.

im currently 17, 5'5'', and 125 pds!.
my stomach is firmer from the pilates, but i need to lose fat all around and on stomach more!.

Answers:
In order to lose weight, you should do cardio for 60 minutes at least 5 times per week!. This doesn't necessarily have to be running, it could be swimming or using an elliptical!.

It is safe and healthy to maintain weight loss to lose 2 pounds per week!. Therefore, with a healthy diet and exercise, you could lose it in as little as 3 weeks!

Run as much as you can one day and take the next day off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

3daysWww@Answer-Health@Com

you should do different types of running exercises like one day jog a 1/4 mile than sprint a 1/4 mile repeat that until you have done three miles!. next day nice easy run for as long as you can!. next day off just do alot of stretching, next day at a decently quick pace do the three miles about the last 1/4mile sprint and if you feel like you still have energy that means you need to go fast the other 2 3/4 miles, next nice medium pace run for as long as you can, next day jog a 1/4 mile than sprint a 1/4 mile repeat that until you have done three miles this raise your cardio, next day off only stretching!. also you need to get good running shoes and if you run alot you should change them every 3-6 months also stretching is very important and remember muscle ways more than fat so really your not losing weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
