Taking whey protein, does it help you loose weight?

Iam trying to loose weight and some people are telling me not to eat meat and other people say you need the protein.


Answers:

just eat a clean whole natural calorie controlled balanced diet with good exercises (mix cardio and strength training) and you'll see the pounds fly right off you in no time. As long as your sticking to an immaculate diet plan and exercising regularly I don't see how you cant lose weight. Eat more veggies/fruits, and keep your carbohydrates brown and wholemeal, also eat leaner cuts of meat for protein like chicken and fish. If you want to gain muscles which will make you gain weight a little because muscle weighs more than fat then perhaps whey is appropriate but you just said you wanted to lose weight so a clean diet will work better.
