Which is healthier running or walking?
If i were to run one mile, would i burn more or the same calories to walking the mile? Would it also build more muscle or is everything the same and time is the only difference?
Answers:
Running is sometimes more dangerous for your bones and joint and can put alot of pressure on them. Running does burn slightly more calories though. Walking at a rate of 3.5 to 4 MPH will burn around .1 calories per second. Running at a rate of 6.5 to 7 MPH will burn about .2 to .25 calories per second.
