Teen girls gain a little extra fat during this time of life because your body needs it for extra energy while you go through puberty, grow and mature!.
Use common sense, learn about good nutrition and be sure to enjoy some sort of physical activity every day!.
Don't try to starve yourself because that will not work! Avoid fast food and junk food, get as much fresh veggies and fruit as possible and whole grain breads and pastas plus protein and yes, fats too!.
