When I needed to lose weight, I walked twice around my neighborhood 4 times a week !.!.!. 3 miles, so about a dozen miles a week and in a month I dropped ten lbs!., just walking !.!.!. of course, you burn calories faster in colder weather, but either way you're burning calories !.!.!. I wouldn't walk (if it's a power walk) on a daily basis !.!.!. it's bad for your knees !.!. but trust me when I tell you, any way you slice it, if you walk anywhere between 10 and 15 miles a week and watch your diet, you'll lose 2 to 3 lbs!. a week !.!.!.
just as a side note, if you want to add something to the formula, don't eat 3 meals a day !.!.!. cut yourself down to smaller meals and eat 5-6 times a day !.!.!. best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, it depends on how fit you are!. If you are already walking a mile and you are getting results (weight loss), then continue that routine!. If you are more than uncomfortably fatigued, then you can cut back a little (maybe to 3 quarters of a mile) and stilled get the desired results!. If you are not getting the desired results and have no excessive fatigue, then you should increase your walk to a mile and a quarter!. If you can run and would like to, try running a half to three quarter miles and increasing it by a quarter mile every month or month and a half until you reach a distance you are comfortable with!.

If you are doing a mile a day easily without getting winded or tired, try upping either your speed or the distance!. You need to keep pushing yourself or else you will plateau and cease to see improvements!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've heard 30 minutes at a brisk pace 3-7 days a week!. You can also build muscle mass to reduce fat!. Muscle requires a lot of energy to maintain so it uses up more calories!.
