Pssst, you got some advice??? If I gave some advice, would you take it???!

Question: Lately, I've really been having some problems with my weight loss mission. I hit a plateau years ago that I tried to yoyo back from, that actually sent me back to the start. I was wondering what happened. I never read how my body is going to react to all the new life changes and how long it takes to adapt.

1. New food doesn't digest like the other stuff. My body was so used to processing grease and oil; I'm having a hell of a time with fruits and vegetables because of all the excess acid I used to need.

2. Exercise hurts. Not only do you "feel the burn" but later on my muscles revolt because of all the work they weren't used to doing. Not all horses are easy to get over.

3. Moodiness. Not only are people having a hard time relating to me in this transition, I often wonder what I'm thinking. Usually I go along with what I'm doing because it's in line with my goal.

Please share any similar experiences or ones I forgot.

Keep hope alive!

Tiredness, although doing more exercise does give you energy, I've recently started back doing 1 hour aerobics, 1 hour at the gym and 1 hour swimming a week and by friday I'm too tired to go out partying! It's just trying to fit everything in around an already fairly busy schedule!

I lost about 30 pounds (which stopped about six months ago) and hit the plateau. I have not lost one pound in the past six months. I have yo-yo'ed in the past six months (within five pounds). I will gain five pounds one month and lose the five the next month.
I started exercising more (about five months ago) and still have not lost any weight, but I gained muscle. I started eating better also. Still have not lost any more weight. This makes me a little moody at times.
I am 5'7'' and am 160. So, it's not like I am anorexic; so I can totally relate to your experience.
