Chocolate contains a high amount of sugar. The body needs water to break down this sugar build-up. If you have not consumed anything that contains water the body reacts by releasing more water into the colon. This can cause stomach cramps and even diarrhea. If you drink a full glass of water before you eat the chocolate, you should see a difference in the way your stomach reacts.

You deserve that. It is stupid to eat candy on an empty stomach. Too much sugar, too rich. You stomach wants to reject it. You can give yourself diabetes eating like that.

there is probably too much sugar. and when u eat too much sugar on an empty stomach, it will upset ur stomach. My advice, just dont eat chocolate on an empty stomach. lol

It depends; it could be a number of things. If you're lactose intolerant, then your answer is obvious. Chocolate happens to be one of the less healthy foods, and the fat in it may be hard to digest if you haven't eaten in a while. I know in the morning I can only eat toast, simply because I'm out the door at 6. It might just be a shock to your stomach; it's probably sensitive, and at its worst in the morning. No problem with that though.
