Hi, Gabby, there are a ton of benefits for getting more fiber into your diet and it's pretty easy to do. See the Fiber tab on the website below for lots of information. There's nothing wrong with taking a fiber tablet EXCEPT it's better --much better--to get your fiber from natural sources, such as eating fruits and vegetables. When you're trying to get more fiber, introduce it slowly so that you don't upset your stomach. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water.
