I would like to know the best possible way to replenish and refresh my energy af!
Question: Everytime I finish a workout I feel down and out for a while. I try to eat some carbohydrates and proteins but I wanted to know if there is one godly food that will fix me right up. Thanks in advance.

There's plenty of things you can eat/drink to replenish your energy.
Remember the rule: 20 grams of protein and 40 grams of quick-digesting carbs. That's what you want.
There's a bunch of ways go get to this. You could: mix protein powder in water (20 g protein), and complement it with an energy drink (est 40 g sugars/electrolytes).
Or, you can grab some products in your local grocery store.
I like PowerBar's 'Recovery Drink'. It's different than the typical bars you find everywhere. Their Recovery Drink is the perfect 40/20 blend. You won't find them everywhere, but Target carries them. They come in a 4-pack.
Or, head to the dairy aisle and find a Yogurt Drink. Not the Light n Fit kind - go for the full sugar kind. While not perfect, the yogurt drink will get you est 10g protein and 35g carbs. And they taste great.
The biggest point to remember: make sure you replenish your system no more than 1 hour after working out. Preferably, about 20 minutes afterward. Your muscles are like a sponge waiting to efficiently use the calories you give them, but they're only open for so long....don't miss your time window.

protein shake + banana works great.
or protein shake with a scoop of dextrose(corn sugar) in it as well
try about 30g of protein, and 60g of carbs. (this might mean 2 bananas)
Proteins are the best things to eat after your workout. I usually indulge in some quick and simple carbs, like a can of pop or something, to get some energy back. It's not the best thing, but it will actually make you feel better. Bananas are an excellent post-workout food as well.
EAS makes a great product called myoplex. You can purchase it at any GNC or wal-mart. It comes in shake form or bar form. It is a great post-workout supplement
Protein won't be the answer, you need to choose a simple carbohydrate, something that your body will metabolize fast. if you use the glycemic index with a number over 70 it will break down super fast and give you quick energy, I've found that a bowl of fruity pebbles in whole milk works pretty good for me they have a GI of 90 fairly high, plus the whole milk has a higher fat content that will keep me from getting hungry again for a while.
hope this helps, one other thing how much and how long are your workouts?
