lotion, vitamin E (repairs), scar repair creams (work on coloration, softening the tissue, etc), massaging your skin (circulation helps skin repair), and skin firming creams. and exfoliating stuff (get rid of old skin helps new skin...).
Use all of these and use them now! Because new scars (which is what stretch marks are) are much easier to get rid of than old scars!
They will most likely fade with time even if you don't treat them, but this is your best bet for making them lessen or maybe even almost vanish...................

I hear you. One of my mates found this site few weeks ago, working wonders.

sorry but there is no cure and if you lose weight then you get a few more....sorry to tell you as it is...but that is fact !!
there are a few creams out there that say they help....but thats like anti wrinkle creams ( which i use all the time lol) they dont work
but go ask in your local boots store :)

sorry dear, the stretch marks that have been there for sometime might not go away..but try avoiding getting new ones..keep your skin well moisturised all the time....and use vitamin e rich creams...

Bio-oil is really good.

Removal of stretch marks is the most effective when they are just formed, i.e. when they are reddish in color. Dermatologists recommend various treatments for the marks, but their removal is very difficult once the marks fade. Although, one can use Olive oils, Coconut butter or Vitamin E or Vitamin A for massaging over the marks. Aloe Vera Gel soothes irritating skin which has been recently stretched. For an effective prevention of stretch marks, exercising is the best bet, as it keeps the muscles and skin firm. Also eating foods, which are rich in proteins, Vitamin C and E help in promoting and maintaining healthy skin.

They are, as you have already picked up, most commonly due to obesity. Correcting this has got to be your first step and will certainly not resolve unless you tackle this. It is important to combine diet with regular vigorous exercise, this will improve everything including skin tone.
