Motivation!?!


Question: okay, so i need some help with maintaining my motivation. I get so excited to work out, but after about day 2, i'm all...blah. hhaah.
I need to stay motivated, and i really want to get toned, and lose some fat[about 5-8.]

so what are some good motivational tips?

-Get a size smaller jeans, or shirt or both.
-If you are on the treadmill, set a piece of cake at the other side of the room. run until you physically can't take another step, then go get your reward =)
-tell yourself you aren't going to get any skinner by laying on the couch, eating food, etc. etc.
-set a goal per week. ----ex. 2.5 lbs.
-motivate yourself!
-drink lots and lots of water. makes the pounds melt off.

Put up a picture on your fidge, somewhere where you'll see it often, of a female in a bikini who looks just great.
When you reach for the bad food in the fridge, you might just be tempted to put it back and do a few kilometres on the treadmill. That visual reminder of what you want to be will help you.

Make a collage. Cut out quotes, pictures, etc. and hang it up where you'll see it. Also, make a special playlist on your iPod for songs that make you want to stand up and move.

take pictures of what your current weight is at right now and decide what you want to focus on afterwards each week take photos to see what you look like. Pictures of what you want to look like..really you just need to not give up stay strong set a goal and stay on track. Keep food journals, also my friend keeps a scale by her fridge so whenever she is hungry she thinks about her current weight. Have your friends work out with you two that way your both occupied and doing something good for yourself.

I'm in the same position as you are, I joined this website though, and it's really helping me out. You can print out the workout sheets, and it's nice. =]
