there are many ways to find it on the internet. search google for how many points you get based on your weight. for example, i am 127 lbs so i get 20 points each day. I believe anyone 150 & under get 20 points a day. there is a sight called dwlz.com & its all the points for the restaurants and foods. There are plenty of other sites which list points for recipes, individual foods and restaurants. But you might want to purchase a points calculator at your local weight watchers. Trust me the 10 dollar investment is completely worth it. You can calculate anything with a nutrition label to see how many points it is. I carry it with me everywhere. With a bit of internet research you can do the system without having to join. I am not a member but I did purchase the books on ebay and I follow the plan just fine.

Note: each point is roughly about 50 calories. Points are figure through calories, fat and fiber. Depending on your weight you may get 20 to possibly even 30 points a day. You have the option of using the flex plan which is 35 flex points a week which you may divy of up each day of the week or however you should so choose.

Happy searching! good luck! & remember you may still have to pay out of pocket but wouldn't you rather pay for the books and materials if need be rather than using that money on fast food or food you dont need only to gain more weight?

Hope this helps.

Why not just use the whole calorie system? It works in the exact same way! Stick to around 1500 calories, try to make them from healthy, natural foods like fish, wholegrains and vegetables, excersize regularly and you really can't go wrong. There's no need to spend any money on getting healthy. X

Are you kidding me?

If you don't want to pay for it then don't use it.

The only free "points system" I could find would be to simply count calories. It sounds tedious, but it's actually less work than calculating points yourself (however wikipedia does have the weight watchers formula for calculating point values: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weight_Watc... One pound of fat equals 3500 calories, so if you cut out 500 calories per day (or cut out less and burn an amount through exercise to equal 500), then you can safely lose a pound per week. If you try to cut out calories too quickly your body goes into starvation mode and your metabolism will slow down, making it impossible to lose weight.
