Burn fat and NOT gain muscle?!

Question: I already have a good bit of muscle in my arms, so I just want to burn off some fat, and not gain any more muscle mass in my arms. Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing this?

Cardio burns fat, so increase your cardio and add intervals to your weight lifting (i.e., in between strength exercises do a short burst of cardio to get your heart rate up, like jumping jacks) If you like your arms as they are, keep working them at the same pace you already do; don't increase weight or reps. Also decrease white carbs (white rice, white bread, sugar, potatoes). Good luck with those guns!

running.

Just do cardio like jogging and dont eat white bread or fried stuff or sugar.

It's great to gain muscle so just do it anyways! Why on earth wouldn't you want muscles??

running, swimming

eat a vegan diet and do not workout other than cardio.

just work out until the fat is gone, but stop before more muscle starts to form

running
just fat burning, and you just get muscels in the legs, so hey it's a win- win situation

swimming, weight training can work, just do reps of 12-15, which is used more for toning rather than gaining muscle

do alot of cardio, try working out your legs, or just tone your muscle and not use heavy weights.

well it's physically impossible to do both at the same time anyway... in order to gain muscle you need a surplus of calories.. and to lose fat you need a deficit in your calories. So i would go on google and search "daily calory intake calculator".. then put in your info and it will tell you how many calories a day to eat in order to lose weight

What about muscle in your legs? Do cardio and work your legs then you burn more fat throughout the day, of course also cut down your carb and fat intake.

just run

cardio workout
running, walking, jogging and treadmill.

Don't use such heavy weight while lifting weights and more cardio....cardio is the best for losing fast storage. And also lighter weights and higher reps will give you a more lean look.
What the poster said above me, yes interval training is really good!

I think what you are leaving out is, -by aiming for a Barbie Doll body, the need for you to simply be healthy is overlooked.
If that isn't in the plan than you will constantly feel dissatisfied,
Gaining muscle is healthy.
