Why are total calories based on activity level?!

Answers: and why should most of your calories come from carbs?

carbs are high in fiber... whats fiber.. fiber is your friend it makes you feel full longer. complex carbs that is ex. fruits , veggies &grains ( anything white such as bread white pasta white rice is not so good.) Your body nees carbs (complex) protein(lean meats chicken breast, turkey, fish) and Fats (olive oil, nuts) to stay balanced!

Well calories are what run your metabolism and keep your body either healthy or unhealthy. By that I mean, if you consume more then the required calories for your frame, you need to be very active and burn off some of the uneccesary calories and carbs, or else they turn into fat. However, if you consume less then the required amount for your frame, and on top of that are very active, then you are putting your body in a bad situation. For example, if you consume little calories, then your body will go into starvation mode and will only cause more health problems onto your frame. On the other hand we have carbs. One of which are Simple carbs , where if left alone will only turn into fat and make you feel hungry. Complex carbs are carbs which are necessary for your body and will result in keeping you full and healthy and eventually lead to the average calories that your frame is supposed to intake. To sum it up, the more active you are, the higher your calorie intake should be, while the less active you are , the more you should watch out on what type of calories and how many you are intaking.
