I keep working on my forearms but they dont seem to grow big?!

Question: When I go to the gym i take dumbbells and workout my forearms. But at that moment they pump up and seem big.

But the next day they are small again..

how come professionals have huge forearms all the time?

(Btw, I also drink Optimum nutrition whey protein)

You shouldnt be working your arms more then 3 times a week. Muscles don't actually grow during the work out, they grow while repairing themselves.
Up the protein. Have those shakes 3 times a day.
One in the morning, once mid day(or after your work out) and once before bed.
Also, considor eating more food. At least 500 more calories.
You need the fat to be able to turn it into muscle.

because they do less repitition and heavier weights. you are probably just doing enough to keep your muscles toned. forearms are tricky but try doing reps on the chest press and increase your weights at the beginning of every repetition you start. this will help you keep your muscle;
