i always put my feet up on something and put a box that is around 2 inches off the ground and touch my chin on the box. put your feet up so you keep straighter and you work your arms more

You're not alone.

I suck at push ups too.

I think you could try doing 20 off your knees then builed into
real ones,I do that its wa easer good luck and God bless you

hmm just try controlling the press up and make sure you dont rush it. make sure your hands are a keyboard apart. and make sure your back and bum are horizontal and legs straight together. keep trying and 4 days isnt that long.

There's really no way to practice for push ups. lol You have to gain muscle in your arms, that's the whole idea. Just start doing as many reps as you can everyday, warming up your arms, but don't push yourself too hard. You will find the more you do, eventually the amount you can get it starts going up.. and that's a key factor in knowing you are building muscle in those arms of yours. :)

lol if my fat A$s can do 80 in a row... you can do 20.. just practice

I suggest you take it from easy to hard. For example, you can lean on a chair or a desk to do your push ups first as some warm up exercise, then lower the height of the objects you lean on until you are strong to do enough push ups on the ground. This takes several days of hard work. Make sure you spend at least an hour doing this, and you'll see the result.
