Excersizes for love handles?!


Question: Those things are sooo irritating! And I dance almost everyday for at least and hour and a half each day (really intensive) and I eat healthy so what's the deal? Any help? Thanks!

Hi. I can understand your frustration. Let me explain why and you will understand.

Since you dance every day, your body has become used to this "exercise" and this means it is very very efficient in the way it uses its resources when you are dancing.

Because you are doing this at the exact same level every day and there is no improvement, the body has found a good balance and sees no point to make any changes.

What you need to do to get rid of those love handles is, if possible, introduce a constant improvement of your dancing (which could be impossible because you said you are already doing it intensively) or you will have to change to a different activity for about 1-2 weeks to surprise your body and then try to come back to dancing and see if the body can make use of it or it needs more time to "forget" it.

Additionally, I suspect you may not want to switch from dancing, in which case you need to use nutrition as your weapon against the last bits of fat on your body. I.e. reduce the amounts you eat.
