What should I do to slim down??!


Question: I am 21 and I am about 190 lbs. I have a wedding June 14 and I want to look better then I do now! I know the weight isnt going to fall off me but I was looking how long should I run how many clories should I take in? That kind fo thing. I have been running for a week but not eating so well What sould I do??

This is a great question! My mom runs about 5 to 7 miles a day! She also knows how to eat right. She has a salad and hard boiled eggs for dinner when my sister doesn't eat here and my dad works late. But also, if you have a family dinner every night, then maybe eat small portions, and don't have more than 2 servings. You can also try to have a special workout routine everyday. Just find a time that works out for you. Then just figure out how many calories u wanna burn, or how many miles u wanna run. Just have 3 meals a day. Watch what u eat. Look at the nutrition facts. C how many calories are in the product. If u want maybe have 1 snack a day along with those 3 meals. If u have the snack than don't eat desert! Just try to have a routine. The most important thing is the 3 meals part. Don't snack alot! U don't have to run more that 1 to 2 miles a day. I'm tryin to help here. And i hope my advice does u good!

Eat well and exercize.. it's pretty simple. Don't drive, walk.

you could go to the gym because my sister did in like january and she wass 190 too now she is 150!!!!!!you should try that or just watch your diet and try not eating too much junk food...

go to a public pool and just do laps- i am 13 and have been doin that 4ever on a team...it builds up evry single muscle in ur body and keeps u very in shape

special k diet is good i have to loose 15 pounds by may 10 for my sisters wedding .you can google special k diet.

My mom has a nutritionist and that's helped her a lot. But what you should do it cut down on the sweets, mostly eat your greens and meat, then go to the gym as much as you can. Exercising every once in a while isn't going to help you. You should stay active and making working out a daily thing.

If you don't want to spend money and go to the gym you could just do crunches, run around a neighborhood subdivision, or watch one of those workout movies.

Just wanting to isn't going to make it happen, you have a lot of ways you could go. Have you thought of visiting with your doctor about your weight he maybe able to prescribe something to help. If that's not right there are alot of over the counter med's you could try. Before you do you should figure out the reason you are over weight! And change it up. 3500 calories equals one pound. Most important of all is to drink lots of water, it helps you feel full and it help flush out the calories and such. Keep up the running cardo will work wonders, but you've got to keep with it be relistic don't try to much to fast work your self into it. If you normally eat a big meal at night, try to make sure and not eat after 6. And always eat something for breakfast, hope that your are able to meet you goals, good luck.

You should run for half an hour, then work your way up. You should also avoid not eating anything. When you finally do eat, your body will think its starving and store whatever food you eat as fat. You should try eating heally foods such as fruits and vegatables. Try not to eat more than 1500 calories a day. I've been eating that amount of calories with very little exercise and have lost about 13 lbs. I hope it works for you^^
