Sometimes I get an urge to eat unhealthy food, but it only happens whenever I feel depressed. I think that the taste of certan foods are pleasing to the senses and we tend to go for them when we are emotionally weak or depressed. I give in to honey rather than cake, but too much of it is still detrimental to health. I find that its not the food I eat that is the problem, its the amount. Sometimes I can eat an adequate amount and then other times I eat far too much and cannot stop. I have leanrnt to control this and concentrate on other things that I enjoy whenever I feel that I have an overactive appetite. I believe my diet is quite healthy and consists of rice, vegetables, fruit, nuts, grains and pulses.
To deny yourself something makes you want it more. I say get it out of the way now, then you're less likely to binge later.
I just make sure not to take more than I really want.
food is meant to nourish the body....not to play games over. I say....let them eat cake.
i just eat it. but i only weigh 118 pounds. i guess if i felt like i should lose weight, i'd be more selective about what i eat.
I'd be lying if I said that everytime I feel the need for sweets and stuff that I stop myself..I just don't think it's good for you to deprive yourself...I think one day a week one sweet or junk food type of food would'nt kill you.
sometimes i resist temptation. sometimes i dont but when i dont i never stop so i have to be careful.
No, I play no game.
I just eat it. ;]
I'm usually pretty good with thats stuff, I just keep things balanced, if I haven't had junk food in a while, maybe i'll have a piece if i'm really craving it.
I counter my cravings with a set workout routine. I run at least 9 miles a week, lift weights every other day, and hit the punching bag for a few hours in between.
I find I naturally eat healthier... my body craves, my body gets.
I love to eat and often pig out on good food! Not much processed crap, but I find I just don't crave it the same as when I was a pack a day smoker and a couch potato.
Life is way to short to deprive yourself!
