I need tips on how to avoid dinner?!?!


Question: I'm trying to loose a lot of weight, and yeah I'm becoming pro-ana, and I don't want any comments on that. I need some really good ideas about how I can miss dinner. Every single night my parents always make huge suppers, and i have to eat everything it's just gross. I need some good excuses/escape plans besides just saying "i dont feel well" that can get me out of eating! Help?

My idea is to tell your parents what you are trying to do, tell them that you don't want huge dinners, don't skip dinner, have a salad.

dinner is the least important meal of the day, you don't need all that energy from a huge meal, have a medium breakfast ((cereal, fruit)) medium lunch ((sandwich with meat inside)) and a small dinner ((salad))

that way, you get all your essential nutrients, sugar and vitamins from breakfast, proteins and carbs from lunch, and.... not sure what you get from salad, but it's healthy.

a sandwich isn't going to stop you from losing weight, it'll help, especially if your exorcising. you need those carbs for energy, maybe an hour before dinner, go for a long walk, or a medium run.

It will really help.

You shouldnt skip a meal to lose wieght. You can eat earlier, daon't eat anything after 7pm. This way your body has time to burn the calories off before you go to bed:)

I know u said you didn't want answers like this but you shouldn't miss a meal. Ask your parents if you can eat earlier in the evening. Mabey before 6pm.

Tell them you had a big lunch and still feel full.

Don't skip meals; your body stores the little food you eat as fat if you consistently skip meals.
Eat 3 meals a day. Avoid snacking. When you eat your meals, eat until you are comfortable. Don't starve yourself, but don't over do it either. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. do all of that, and you should be good to go!

How are we supposed to tell you how to become more successfully anorexic? Why not just become bulimic instead so you don't have to go through the time consuming task of excusing yourself from dinner all the time or doing anything proactive to lose weight in a healthy fashion (it's so hard! boo hoo for you!) and they won't be any the wiser!!!!

Here's a tip...stop purging when your vomit is primarily stomach fluid so your teeth don't rot. Good riddance.

If you want to lose weight the answer is to space your meals into smaller portions more often to keep your metabolism going. If you continuously skip a meal your system will actually slow down your metabolism to conserve what it has.

I'm telling you from experience that skipping meals may make you thinner but it will mess your metabolism up for the rest of your life making it hard to lose weight when you hit your twenties. What has worked for me is eating a bit healthier, tell your parents that the food they serve you is making you fat, demand healthier foods. Cut out soda, i recommend getting an aerobics set at walmart the one with the DVD and aerobics ball, palates set is what i think its called, do all the exercises on the chart twice a day if possible, if you gain lean muscle you'll burn fat like mad i promise. Exercise is the best way to lose weight.

The best way to lose weight is to work out. Starving yourself is never the answer. But if you don't have enough time to commit to that, you should cut your calorie intake by half or so, and your body will go into survival mode. In survival mode your mind changes how your body works and becomes more efficient. Which has some health benefits. But i still think working out will be more beneficial.

No because if you died I'd feel awful. I have anorexia and I can't understand how people can actually want to have it. It's HELL! I've been given a year to live, have watched my family be torn apart and am being forced to accept that my body is being slowly destroyed by myself and I can't bring myself to stop all because of this horrible illness. Sorry but this has destroyed my life and will probably kill me so I'm not going to tell you how to let it do the same to you.
