Nutrition and bodybuilding?!
Question: Is it a good idea to take whey protein immediatly after lifting weights if a half-hour of cardio is going to follow the weightlifting? Should it be taken after both activities or inbetween? Thank you for your advice.

It's usually a good idea to keep your weights and cardio 24 hours apart. Cardio such as running raises cortisol levels and lowers testosterone - this will cause a decrease in muscle repair, and will sabotage your gains, so I'd suggest doing weights and cardio on different days.
Whey protein is absorbed very quickly (~30 minutes), so it works best when taken immediately after a workout. Drinking it before cardio will also prevent some of the muscle catabolism that results. I would personally drink the shake right before, or immediately after the lifting, and before the cardio.
Since I started to work out I was looking for a good weight loss product (I only wanted something 100% natural). I was on a diet but I felt that I needed a little "help" so I decided to try this great detoxification colon cleanse and I had fantastic results. You can check their website at

I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her (100% natural). I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. It's really a colon cleanse, and it's a healthy way to detox, not like most diet pills. Check their website at
